Hi, I'm Lauri Long and I've been creating decorator type items since 1983.  My creative juices are churning all the time.  By training, I am a seamstress, but it seems like I'm always enjoying creating all kinds of things to help make the world a bit more interesting.

I created the trademarked Iowish™ theme after visiting Washington, DC.  When people asked where I was from and I replied "Iowa", I often had to explain that Iowa is in the heartland and that we don't grow potatoes there. Those great potatoes are grown in Idaho.  In Iowa, we grow lots of corn, soybeans, hogs, and really great kids, but we don't grow potatoes.

This experience inspired me to invent the term "Iowish™" and the phrase "Kiss me, I'm Iowish™", so I could proudly display it on a t-shirt or sweatshirt.

The back of the shirt tells a bit about our wonderful state. We also have customized shirts for many Iowa towns with historical information about the city or town.  Inquiries are welcome if you don't see yours!

Our "Iowish™" items spark a lot of conversation. It's amazing how many Iowans live in other places, but still call Iowa "Home".  "Iowish™" items make great gifts!

Recently we started making custom shirts featuring many of the wonderful towns we have in Iowa.  We'll be adding more as we go along, so if you don't see YOUR home town on the list, let us know and, if we get enough requests, we'll see what we can come up with!
